The space to laugh, cry, express emotions that can’t normally be expressed in our everyday life. For me, video games have always that medium that can connect to me everyone. Learning from virtual stories and seeing how it can relate to my life and even make me feel something I didn’t. Wanting to share that in a space with other people and hearing their feelings on it helped me feel connected to the world. A kind of safe space where even I quote a famous line from a game, and people won’t look at me with disgust and confusion. That space can be found all over the world, so accessible if you’re looking for it. Realizing other mediums are out there such as music makes me able to express even more when I cannot. I want a world where you can express your emotions vividly through art and it’s celebrated. Overcoming that void you feel everyday because you have a space to do it.
