Whenever you see a narrative surrounded around a fat person the focus is about them trying to lose weight or their struggles with body image. Showcasing a fat person just living, just being who they are, needs to be represented. Even with shows like Shrill and movies like Dumplin’ we need more. There is more than one type of body in this world. Fat people fall in love, fat people go out, fat people have sex! Fat people are more than just their weights. They have stories and experiences that deserved to be shared.
